This is a critical leadership position that requires strong leadership and an ability to partner with operations leaders within the region and guide a regional team.
The qualified candidate will be a high-energy self-starter with a strong work ethic who must excel at both day-to-day tactical execution as well as strategic planning.
This individual must be motivated by a competitive industry and be an expert at fulfilling customer requirements and working across a broad team.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as deep, relevant experience in supply chain operations will be critical to success in this role.
The Demand Manager, Mobility Americas will be responsible to:
Collect and analyze data from customers, sales, marketing and other internal and external sources for the Mobility Business Unit, to construct appropriate demand and sales forecasts.
Work closely with commercial teams to gather sales inputs to augment and improve demand plan.
As part of the monthly cycle, this position is directly responsible to identify market trends and work closely with regional supply team and manufacturing sites.
Work with locations to develop and maintain an inventory plan that is used to forecast inventory levels required to meet the Demand Plan.
Report market changes that impact supply chain capacity and raw material demand; convert in to changed plan.
Develop the process and report metrics needed to ensure the production facilities meet sales targets which consistently conforms to the plan.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field; advanced degree preferred or Certification in APICS or equivalent preferred or 10 - 15 Years of progressive experience in supply chain or related roles in a manufacturing environment 5
