The Clubhouse Generalist is a key associate at Hope Network whose primary responsibilities include:
At the direction of the Clubhouse Director and in keeping with the international standards for Clubhouse programs Standard #10 - All Clubhouse staff have a Generalist role. All staff share employment, housing, evening and weekend, holiday and unit responsibilities. Clubhouse staff do not divide their time between Clubhouse and other major work responsibilities that conflict with the unique nature of member/staff relationship. Responsible for overseeing one of the Clubhouse Unit's, but has the ability to move from unit to unit, as required. Works side-by-side with members doing all unit tasks. This position understands that program participants are perceived as members rather than clients or patients, and they work to maintain an informal setting to reduce the psychological distance between staff and members. Continually encourage members to assume productive roles both within the psychosocial club facility, and in the broader community, which is viewed as an integral part of the total psychosocial rehabilitation setting. Provides members support through working to maintain a flexible, varied program of vocational, educational, and recreational activities. Actively involved with the development of Transitional Employment and Supported Employment placements in the community and actively involved with their sustainability.
Summary
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND
Responsibilities:

1. Provide supreme customer service, always being courteous, responsive, professional, and helpful to the organization's internal and external customers.
2. Know the contract requirements for your program/service.
3. Work in close collaboration with staff team and members, as well as, individually to meet goals, promote a positive work environment, and advance the quality of services provided to members of the Clubhouse.
4. Facilitate, with membership, daily meetings for assigned unit and participate in the clubhouse general membership meetings, support other units as needed.
5. Actively engage members, work with, and alongside members in the work-ordered day, to identify needs in the unit and Clubhouse, to assist members in planning out a full day's worth of work and ensure those needs are met, plan activities and perform tasks associated with true clubhouse units. These tasks include meal preparation, administrative planning, clerical responsibilities, store and/or snack operations, and building maintenance.
6. Make certain the case manager and other clubhouse personnel evaluate the effectiveness of Treatment Plan goals and interventions, and make recommendations concerning amendments, as needed.
7. Ensure unit work gets completed even if members are unwilling to assist.
8. Ensure personnel identify and encourage the skills, talents, creative ideas, and efforts of each member each day.
9. Participate in social/recreational activities on some weekends, evenings, and holidays.
10. Serve as an advisor, advocate, and resource for a caseload of members.
11. Provide rehabilitation services to improve members' level of functioning in the areas of self-care, social skills, occupational productivity, and stress tolerance.
12. Support member's goals to find meaningful work outside the Clubhouse through Supported, Transitional or Independent Employment.
13. Assist with vocational skill building, completing applications, interviewing, job development, job coaching and follow along supports.
14. Participates in Clubhouse employment team meetings to promote, seek and establish Transitional Employment placements for members.
15. As assigned, manage member placements in the Transitional placement.
16. Document encounters and contacts made on behalf of members. Assist caseload members, as needed, with their weekly progress notes.
17. Participate in outreach activities aimed at achieving a minimum of 40% of total membership attendance daily.
18. Ensure 100% of routine/customary daily, monthly, quarterly and annual internal data reports are submitted by defined timeline.
19. Adhere to high level of health and safety practices in the Clubhouse facility, and with corporate vehicles.
20. Identify emergency crisis and respond according to accepted crisis intervention methods and techniques.
21. Complete and submit service encounter documentation, by defined timelines.
22. Maintain comprehensive charting for clubhouse members.
23. Conduct ongoing assessments of members and evaluate effectiveness of clubhouse goals and interventions.
24. Make certain that 100% of your training requirements are renewed prior to expiration date, as specified by your job.
25. Work toward personal and professional goals and objectives. Attend job related in-services and training when offered and actively seek to further develop competencies.
Requirements
Educational / Talent Requirements:
1. Associate Degree or equivalent (two years of related experience).2. Preferred Bachelor (QMHP).
Work Experience Requirements:
1. Current Michigan driver's license with acceptable driving record according to HNBHS corporate policy.2. Thorough understanding of clubhouse policies and procedures.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
